Seeking full-time Patient Account Representative for Anesthesia Billing Office. Responsible for the collections of patient accounts from patients, guarantors, and all third party payors. Responds to all inquiries from patients and/or guarantors regarding account balances and insurance status. Further duties includes payer denial review and appeals processing, credit balance review and resolution, recommending appropriate accounts for bad debt review, insurance and patient correspondence.
Successful candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working in a medical office setting with a strong knowledge of collections, accurate calculations of contractuals, and knowledge of government and non-government reimbursement practices required. Must be detail oriented, possess excellent customer service skills, computer and math skills. Must be a team player.
