We are looking for a Regional Account Manager (RAM) to become a team member of a company that sells medical training products for healthcare professionals
The Regional Account Manager provides world class customer service and support to customers and prospective customers. The primary responsibility of this position is to proactively contact prospective customers using a strategic and targeted approach. The aim of this role is to generate sales and income for the company by creating and responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.Experience in communicating with various types of medical professionals and general knowledge of medical terminology is desired.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain regional target account prospecting lists.
• Sell Task Trainers to our education, hospital, clinical, simulation center and industry customers.
• Establish and maintain access to accounts through Key Account Management by phone, email & / or personal visits based on the geographical region assigned to the RAM.
• Generate sales leads and coordinate all sales activity in the designated region.
• Compile list of prospective clients for use as sales leads based on information from direct mailing, target accounts, trade shows, business networking events, and other resources.
• Develop & implement sales programs and strategies for regional accounts.
• Initiate and pursue collection effort on delinquent accounts of personal sales contracts.
• Maintain contact and perform regular goodwill efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and maintain an integrated business plan which illustrates local market opportunities and pull-through efforts for all sales branches they are aligned with.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Clinical Skills / Simulation Guidelines, Health & Safety rules, Product User Guides, Operating and Maintenance instructions, and Procedure Manuals
• Ability to maintain, write and collate customer interaction reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
• Ability to research and prepare presentations and local marketing materials
• Exposure to Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
