A family-owned and operated funeral home is currently looking for a A/R Clerk -Administrative Assistant to assist the Controller. The ideal candidate would be flexible on assisting with administrative duties and funeral service activity duties.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
The schedule can occasionally change on short notice. Some weekend/evening work required.
Essential job functions:
• Data-Entry in QuickBooks.
• Assistant to Controller
• Producing Slideshows
• Producing/Printing items needed for services.
• Greeting Clients
• Answering telephones
• Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
• Compassionate towards others
• Self-starter and team player
• QuickBooks experienced preferred
• Basic accounting and/or A/R experience preferred.
• 2-3 years data entry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office
