Summary description of duties:

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for all A/P entry, assisting with application and analysis of import costs and providing general accounting support to the Finance Manager.  

*Post invoices for several locations, ensuring proper coding and scheduling for payment

*Serve as the primary contact with vendors while maintaining good relationships

*Prepare analysis, metrics, aging and other reporting

*General ledger account reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting

*Assist with inventory analysis and reconciling inventory accounts

*Ability to download, analyze and prepare journal entries from large volumes of data accurately

Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree in Accounting

*2-5 years experience in Accounts Payable, Costing and General or Retail Accounting

*Strong computer skills with advanced Excel experience and other Microsoft Office programs

*Highly organized with attention to detail
