BOOKKEEPER/ OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
A privately-owned metal fabrication company needs reliable, critical thinking Bookkeeper/Office Administrator. This is a critical position in the business as you are responsible for the A/P, A/R, reconciling, and other bookkeeping duties.
Primary Duties
· Accounts Payable – entry of all invoices and weekly check runs
· Reconciling vendor invoices
· Accounts Receivable – Service invoices, Progress billings, etc.
· Job Costing
· Direct communication with vendors, customers and subcontractors as needed
· Reconcile bank statements
· Filing as needed
· Work closely with owner
· Misc. office duties as required
Knowledge of:
· Correct English usage, spelling, vocabulary, and arithmetic
· Effective record keeping and document management
· Willingness to perform other administrative duties as assigned
· Must always maintain an elevated level of confidentiality both in and out of the workplace
Ability to:
· Coordinate, organize, schedule, and prioritize tasks for self
· Display an elevated level of proficiency
· Handle multiple priorities, duties, and responsibilities
· Follow oral and written instructions
· Effectively communicate issues to the proper Company Departments and personnel
· Work in an environment with dogs
