Communications Coordinator
An Episcopal Church, in Historic Downtown Savannah, is need of Communications Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual who has the desire to assist with establishing an on-line presence and utilizing the benefits of social media platforms for a business. In addition, the Communications Coordinator is the back-up for the Parish Administrator.
Primary Duties:
*Prepare and edit Church publications, both hardcopy and electronic, manage social media platforms; assist with the maintenance of the database, and the primary manager of the Facility Scheduler.
*Design, produce, and distribute Parish Paper and Sunday Service Booklet as well as special leaflets when needed
*Design, produce, and ensure podcasts and web-site are running up to the church’s standards
*Obtain necessary information to ensure Parish Papers, Sunday Service Booklet, and eBlast are up to date
*Various clerical duties
*Assist with design marketing materials for various departments
*Assist in completing all Event Orders to ensure the events are seamless
Special Skills, Knowledge and Training
*BS or AS degree preferable in Communications
*High level of creativity, especially in graphic design
*Tech-savvy
*Ability to maintain on-line presence
