Seeking a vibrant, consistent people person with experience in hospitality and sales service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Greet guest and patrons as they arrive
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately
- Provide guest with directions around and to the hotel
- Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and transfer calls as necessary
- Take reservations over the telephone and in person
- Answer inquiries regarding the hotel’s amenities and services
- Compute bills and take payments
- Manage an accurate account of all rooms
- Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift
Qualifications:
- At least six months hotels work experience (preferred)
- Customer Service experienced required
- Experience in using OnQ (preferred)
- Be able to multi task
- Flexible schedule (imperative)
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication, written and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
