Under general supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties of considerable difficulty in the maintenance and repair of buildings, and equipment. Performs other work as required. This position is considered safety sensitive and/or requires access to the safety sensitive areas as required under FAA and DOT regulations.
§ High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
§ Excellent written communication skills.
§ Working skill in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
§ Considerable skill in the use of tools and equipment applicable to the area of assignment such as planners, power saws, levels, tension applications, files, picks, drills, spray guns, cutting equipment, grinders, rip saws, pipe threaders, routers, cement mixers, soldering irons, pipe drills, pipe crimping machines, flare tools glass cutters wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers, etc.
§ Possession of a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
§ Ability to meet and maintain Transportation Security Administration requirements authorizing unescorted access entry to Security Identification Display Area (SIDA).
