Sales Coordinator
One of Savannah's largest hospitality companies is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic professional to join our sales team as Sales Coordinator.
Job description:
- Handles a high volume of customer inquires while ensuring each guest feels taken care of in a professional and friendly manner.
- Organize all billing, charge postings and payments with department clients and vendors
- Follow up with groups regularly to ensure deadlines are met and the cancellation policy is understood
- Provide warm welcome to groups and be main point of contact; coordinate VIP deliveries and organize welcome reception as appropriate.
- Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.
- Ability to grow into a Sales Manager once the Coordinator position is mastered.
Skills needed:
- Full Time Position, some after hours and weekends as needed
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook and familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior work experience in the hotel industry and/or banquets is a plus
- Organizational skills are a priority
