Showroom Manager
A locally owned business in Brunswick is looking for an experienced, goal-oriented Showroom Manager to assist customers, oversee the design of their showroom, and mentor and coach fellow employees.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, and high-end fixtures
- Develop and maintain marketing plan for the showroom
- Maintain and develop a productive team by hiring, training, and providing professional development
- Work with Outside Sales associates to secure and maintain showroom and builder business
- Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
- Ensure product marketing through merchandising and promotions
- Support credit efforts in Accounts Receivable dispute resolution
- Budget process activities, review and manage expenses
- Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while utilizing suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately
Requirements:
· Ability to engage with clients on a friendly and professional level
· Understanding of customer and industry dynamics and requirements
· 2 – 5 years of management experience
· Strategic planning experience
· Knowledge of interior design industry
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong decision-making, analytical, communication and networking skills
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred
