Duties: Our Nurses Appreciate our Monday Friday work week with most Holidays off as well as continued education within the Hyperbaric and Wound Care specialty. This Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities to include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, assessing, evaluating, and providing care as it relates to the specific needs of the patient. Our nurses work within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follow St. Josephs/Candler Hospital protocols, policies and procedures. The RN provides case management to a group of patients utilizing specific assessments according to the Center for Hyperbaric & Wound Care protocols, procedures, treatment plans, and patient/caregiver education relating to their wound care. This position interacts efficiently and effectively with the physician, collaborates with other health care providers as well as center management regarding clinic and patient needs daily.
