This facility is a private, faith-based, not-for-profit health system featuring two of Georgia's oldest hospitals; Oneis 305 beds andthe other is 331 beds. The Health Hospital at this facility offers advanced care for heart attacks with the Chest pain Center Accreditation with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. The Chest Pain Center, a component of the Heart Hospital, responds quickly with advanced treatment for chest pain and health attack patients.

PCU -Progressive Care Unithas 39 private beds.PCU is specialized in cardiac patients but sees higher acuity medical patients as well. Patients admitted to this unit include post-op cardiothoracic surgery after CVICU recovery, chest pain, post-interventional cardiology, respiratory requiring BiBAP, as well as cardiac intravenous medications. AllPCU patients have bedside monitoring capability as well as centralized telemetry monitoring.PCU rooms are also equipped with bedside computers to allow for documentation in the room.

Qualified Candidates:

Responsibilities include providing advanced nursing care for patients with acute conditions such as heart attacks, respiratory distress syndrome, or shock. Unit size is 39 beds with nurse to patient ratio of 4:1. Three years of critical care experience preferred. Duties may include pre and post-operative patients or perform advanced, invasive diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Patients are requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.

Specific Qualifications

• GA RN License Required
• 2 years of nursing experience required, progressive care experience preferred.
• BLS required -- ACLS preferred
• CCRN or PCCN is preferred
• We are looking to fill Day shift (7a-7p) and Night (7p-7a) positions

They would be required to work 312 hour shifts per week

Every other weekend required.
