Our client, a locally owned home and appliance store, is seeking a motivated individual as their Warehouse Operative. In this position, the ideal candidate will support the day to day business operations of the warehouse by providing efficient, safe, and professional stocking, loading, and unloading.

 The warehouse is in Pooler Georgia. Out client offers competitive pay and benefits. The hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 5:30 and possibility of some Saturdays.

 Duties and Responsibilities

•Unload, inspect, and inventory all product arriving 

•Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure maximum cleanliness and efficiency of space.

•Maintain daily cleaning schedule including the inside and outside of warehouse.

•Assist in loading and checking all orders departing to ensure accuracy prior to delivery.  

•Inspect equipment reporting any maintenance issues to Management.

•Observe safety practices while in the warehouse as well as operating warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, the forklift and motorized pallet jacks.

•Ensure the safety of all persons entering and departing the warehouse.  

Requirements:

•Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally; frequently lift, bend and stand.
