Experience: Entry Level

Old Savannah Tours needs enthusiastic and charismatic customer service representatives! We provide our customers with memorable tours of Historic Savannah and our guides are a large role in that process. If you enjoy history, re-enacting history, and acting, then this position is for you! We are looking for tour guides, trolley drivers (will train for CDL!), ticket sellers, and phone agents.

Old Savannah Tours provides a fun, interactive, and unique work environment that other companies cannot. If you enjoy having a group of people's undivided attention and hanging on every word you say, then Old Savannah Tours is the place for you. 

The tour guide is responsible for making sure that our tours are entertaining, informational, and memorable. Afternoon and evening hours are available. No experience is necessary, but it is a bonus. Training will be provided. 

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Present information about Savannah to audiences in a way that is entertaining and memorable.
• Provide in-depth information about the history of Savannah.
• Ride along with trolley tours.
• Answer questions from guests.  
• Make recommendations on sites to see, restaurants to visit, as well as give directions.
• Consistent punctual arrival for tours and shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Education

• Be able to effectively communicate with the public and fellow employees.
• Be able to work for long periods of time in inclement weather.
• Ability to retain historical information with little to no help from aids.
