Pharmaceutical Account Manager

  • Broughton Pharmaceuticals, LLC. is a Savannah, GA based pharma-sales company specializing in backup supplier pharmaceutical purchasing and supply.  Since our founding in 2002, we have been providing high quality customized backup pharmaceutical procurement programs which include: pharmaceutical tele-sales, pharmaceutical market consulting, and customer support.  We are currently seeking qualified individuals for Inside Pharmaceutical Sales position(s).

    Inside Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives - $70k first year earning potential!!! Professionally engage healthcare professionals, pharmacy buyers and office managers in telephonic and email communication. Ensure that an excellent standard of service and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained through timely, efficient and positive responses to customers. Responsible for an assigned book of business, as well as cold calling. Handles all calls according to client specifications including but not limited to using computer systems and training resources.  Engage in a team driven atmosphere that promotes individual and team growth.  Seeks market knowledge and excels in effective written and oral communication.

    Job Duties:

    Build, establish, and maintain relationships with customers in territory

    Generate and qualify leads through targeted contact lists.

    Manage leads by tracking and following up on them.

    Meet monthly goals in accordance to the project management plan.

    Update customer files and databases.

    Provide point of contact for sales territories without outside rep coverage

    Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts

    Log and archive documentation and customer communication in CRM.

    Support and ensure compliance with company and FDA guidelines

    Meet company standards for calls in areas such as quality, volume, and accuracy.

    Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role

    Decipher market information to be used as an aid in a fast paced, ever changing industry.


    At least 2 years of work experience in customer service/sale or medical/pharma industry preferred


    Inside sales experience including prospecting and closing skills a plus.


    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, i.e. customer probing and active listening.

    Customer service skills and ability to deal with conflict and solve problems.

    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Flexibility because job duties, schedule, and projects may change with little notice.

    Knowledge and experience working in Microsoft Office Software (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook). 


    Job Type: Full-time (M-F 8:45 - 5)
