The J.C. Lewis Primary Health Care Center is a federally qualified community health center which exists to provide patient-centered primary health care services to the medically underserved residents of the greater Savannah-Chatham County, Georgia community. The Health Center makes comprehensive primary care, integrated behavioral health care, oral health care, and inpatient respite care services available to all persons, including the homeless and low-income uninsured and underinsured, regardless of ability to pay.  The J.C. Seeking to employ a Registered Nurse (RN) into the interdisciplinary team to provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager. The RN delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan policies and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care.  The RN must possess excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and participates on committees and/or projects. 

Qualifications: Graduate of a school of Nursing. If graduation did not occur within the last two years, 3 or more years of experience as a RN or an applicable setting are required.  Pass RN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program. BLS Required. 

Additional Qualifications:  3 or more years of experience as a registered nurse preferred.  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).  Experience working in a team environment.  Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call.  Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting, while ensuring professionalism at all times. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 

License or Certification: Current RN license by applicable state requirements. Maintains BLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) competency.
