Leopold’s Ice Cream, in historic downtown Savannah is seeking a
Part-Time Fulfillment/Shipping Coordinator

We are looking for an individual who is:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Being an ambassador for our brand to customers and vendors by phone, email and through personal interactions
• Being able to clearly communicate product knowledge and information to both our customers and our staff 
• Being able to accurately pick and pack all orders in a timely manner, always being mindful of costs and brand standards
• Maintaining and contributing to a safe and respectful working environment by using proper food handling skills and following workplace safety guidelines
• Researching best practices in the industry including opportunities for new shipping products and procedures as well as cost-saving measures
• Inventory management of all supplies for shipping program
• Serving as liaison with courier vendors (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
• Making sure all shipping equipment is clean and organized

Minimum qualifications:

• A positive attitude & a strong work ethic
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer and POS skills, including Microsoft software 
• The ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., bend and reach
• The ability to work in a cold environment (gear provided)
• The availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no less than three years)
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to handle dry ice
• Work experience in either production, retail and stocking, hospitality, or supply chain environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a shipping related industry
• Experience working with inventory management
• Experience with ecommerce fulfillment
• Knowledge of ShipStation
• Knowledge of Fishbowl
