Administrative Assistant

A locally owned real estate management company, located in downtown Savannah, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant.  This company has been in business for over 65 years in the Savannah area and manages multiple properties in the Savannah area. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, strong attention to detail, superior organization skills, outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to interact with tenants, clients, and vendors on a professional level. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Filing, answering phones, taking messages, responding to emails

·         Preparing and mailing checks for payment of invoices

·         Reviewing invoices of maintenance vendors for duplicate orders

·         Process commercial and residential applications

·         Maintain lease files, Certificate of Liability insurances, and W9 forms

·         Bank Deposits

·         Correspondence with tenants

·         Prepare lease addendums

·         Update website and social media as needed

·         Assist in leasing properties

·         Assist in overseeing six commercial properties, route maintenance request and arrange for building maintenance


·         Must be well organized and detail oriented

·         Must be able to handle several tasks at once and be flexible

·         MS Office Experience

·         Ability to utilize Social Media

·         Excellent communications skills

·         Strong work ethic and dependability

·         College Degree

·         Clean background and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
