HR and Marketing Assistant

A fast-growing local HR company with competitive pay and excellent benefits is looking for a talented person to join their team. The position’s primary responsibilities include working in an extremely fast-paced environment, interacting with diverse individuals, providing exceptional client service,  supporting the Hiring/Recruiting Division Specialist, Marketing, and Operations team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional phone etiquette, highly organized, detailed-oriented, ability to prioritize & multi-task, a self-starter with a professional presence, and personable.

Principal Duties

Answer and direct all incoming calls effectively and efficiently.

Direct calls to the appropriate person(s) in a helpful and professional manner.

Check voicemail, email, and faxes, reply and or forward to the appropriate party.

Continue to promote the advantages and opportunities to the prospected clients and prospected candidates for The Sullivan Group.

In coordination with operations staff, orient prospective candidates on

Paperwork processing; take identification; set up testing; score evaluations.

Serve as back-up for the Hiring/Recruiting Division Specialist. 

Review applicant inquires, expedite applicant flow and take prompt, appropriate action.

Process and administer pre-apps, applicant paperwork, along with all employment screening data, and enter applications in CRM system.  Audit for completion; follow up on an incomplete application.

Manage electronic and paper filing system: Applications, orders, NATTS, I9s, job function, pre apps; purge as necessary by document control guidelines

Maintain, develop, and inventory all marketing materials for Sullivan Group HR.

Maintain Mail Chimp contact lists according to proper specifications.

Maintain and update company social media sites for marketing, recruiting, information purposes.

Assist with preparation of mass mail disbursements.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties:

This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. 

The job requires a bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of employee/client relations.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks anticipates problems, and meet deadlines.

Ability to work under high-pressure conditions and maintain a professional attitude and behavior.

Efficient with the MS Office Software, Social Media, and CRM.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively and professionally communicate and relate with clients.
