Licensed Property and Casualty Agent
A local transportation focused insurance agency is seeking a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent to join their growing team to assist with quoting new business for prospective clients.
In this role, the ideal candidate is a people person with a motivated attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, and skilled capacity for effectively communicating with clients in a sales atmosphere.

As our newest insurance sales representative, you will market and
sell our insurance products to new customers
Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and possess proven closing techniques
Assist with maintaining client files and ensure proper documentation that may include, processing policies, endorsement changes, invoices, binders, certificates of insurance, documentation, activities, etc., according to agency procedures, and within agency timelines.
Maintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, & audits
Respond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines.
Appropriate Property and Casualty State license(s).
Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques.
Be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable
Possess solid computer and multi-tasking skills, follow up and follow through
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills
All potential candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, skills assessments, reference, and criminal background check.
