A local organization, which hosts multiple events/banquets, is in need of a Porter/Maintenance Technician. This is a critical position as it ensures that the event halls are set up for events and meet the client’s standards. This position requires someone with strong work ethic and the drive to ensure maintenance of the property is up to the organizations standards. The hours will vary for this position, however, the hours should average 40 hours a week.
Maintain the cleanliness of the property
Set up and break down tables and chairs for events
Clean banquet halls after the events
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Keeping the inside of the buildings and property grounds clean
High School Diploma or GED
Strong work ethic
Willing to do hard work
Ability to understand and carry out verbal & written instructions independently
Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights.
Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carry repetitively and for long periods of time.
