Medical Office Coordinator

Our client, a prestigious plastic surgeons office, is seeking a customer service focused Medical Office Coordinator who understands and believes that they are a vital link between the patient, physician, and the practice. Our client is the first choice in the Savannah area when it comes to cosmetic surgery, skin care, and life enhancing services. Using a delicate balance of science and art, our client can customize every surgery to meet their patients personal needs and goals. The Coordinator acts as the ambassador of the clinic, greeting and welcoming all patients. The leader of the day-to-day operation, who works with the medical skin specialists to see that schedules are maintained, appointments are scheduled, calls returned, and patients billed accurately.

Responsibilities

Greeting patients, handling sign in and required clinic and treatment documentation in computer and hard copy files according to state and federal laws for medical clinics.

Answers phone calls, returns messages, confirms appointments.

Calls patient within 15 minutes after appointment time to see if they are coming or if they have to cancel.

Schedules/reschedules appointments for patients.

Checks patients out and collects fees due. Manages collected monies. Produces end of day report and gives monies and required documentation to accounting.

Check the Dermpro Store each day.

Checks inventory and pulls products that will be expiring in three months and put them out at a sale price.

Provides treatment support to provides as needed to keep clinic running smoothly.

Continuing Education as required by the state or clinic.

Participates in events and/or marketing as required by the clinic.

Learns additional skills as determined by the clinic

Supports team members by adjusting to accommodate vacation or sickness if needed.

Has a neat and polished appearance

Always maintains professionalism, tact, and discretion

On time for their shift

Provides consistent service and complies with state and federal laws for medical skin clinics

Supporting of the needs of the clinic and providers

Maintains a clean, neat appearance of work area.

Presents a professional appearance that reflects the clinic
