Part-time Administrative Assistant

This part-time Administrative Assistant position is responsible for varying seasonal aspect of the organization financial activities including dues, billing, report preparation, website management, marketing and committee support; and publishing quarterly newsletters for the organization.
Responsibilities:
•Support President, Treasurer, Registrar and other appropriate officers and committees by maintaining an effective system for thank-you notes, tax letters, and other correspondence as instructed
•Maintain data base with Roster Secretary
•Coordinate and provide regular reports to corresponding secretary, endowment chairman, Annual Giving Fund, accountant etc. including communication of memorials and/or selected donations to newsletter for appropriate response by the Society
•Support Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer by collecting and posting dues as well as other payments to membership software
•Layout and distribution of newsletter with volunteer editor
•Maintain websites for the organization
•Design and revise, as needed, marketing materials
Special Skills, Knowledge and Training
•Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant position, preferably supporting multiple principals.
•Have strong clerical skills to include:
1.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Website and social media management.
2.Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and handle requests from multiple sources
3.Have effective verbal, writing and editorial skills (proficient in English)
4.Have a caring attitude, excellent people skills, high integrity and exercise strict discretion and confidentiality
